Terms of service

The service

MindMaster is practice management software for psychologists, therapists and counsellors. It keeps your client records, sessions, case notes, follow-up tasks and fees in one place, and gives you a booking link your clients can use. It runs in the browser at mindmaster.modoware.com and is made by Modoware.

Who may use it

MindMaster is for practitioners and clinics. You must be at least 18 years old to create a practice. If you create one for a clinic, you confirm that you are allowed to act for it.

Clients who book through your link do not need an account, and what you keep about them is covered by our privacy policy.

The free period and pricing

Every new practice is completely free for 6 months, then a flat ₹299 a month, or ₹2,990 a year. Larger practices and clinics are priced on request.

• The 6 free months run from the date your practice is created.
• The free period is for small practices. The full offer terms, including the caseload it covers, are one click away under Pricing on the home page.
• We email you before your first payment date, and you pay by UPI or bank transfer only if you decide to continue. Nothing is charged automatically, and we never hold your card details.
• Referral months: when a practice you invited makes its first payment, one month is added to your free period, or your next payment date moves a month later. One month per invited practice.
• The offer may change for new sign-ups. Practices already on it keep their free months.

If you decide not to continue, tell us or simply do not pay, and we will get in touch before anything changes on your account. You can export your data at any time.

Acceptable use

Use MindMaster to run your practice, and only for records you have the right to keep. Please do not:

• Share your login with anyone who is not part of your practice.
• Try to reach another practice's data, probe the service for weaknesses, or load it in a way meant to slow it down.
• Use your booking link or the emails we send to spam anyone.
• Store anything unlawful, or use the service to harass or harm anyone.

If we see this happening we may suspend the account, and we will tell you why.

Your data is yours

Everything you and your team enter belongs to you and your practice. We hold it only to run the service for you. You can export every client, session, note and task as CSV files from Settings at any time, and the privacy policy explains what we store and who can see it.

Our responsibilities

We will keep the service running, keep your data safe as described in the privacy policy, back up the database regularly, fix problems when you report them, and answer your support tickets ourselves.

We do not promise that the service will never be interrupted. Maintenance, faults and things outside our control can take it offline for a while, and we will bring it back as quickly as we can. MindMaster is a record-keeping tool, not clinical advice. Your clinical decisions and the notes you write remain yours.

Limits of liability

In plain words: if something goes wrong with MindMaster, the most we will owe you is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. We are not responsible for lost income, for data you did not export, or for other indirect losses, except where the law does not allow us to exclude them. Nothing here takes away rights that Indian law gives you and that cannot be given up.

Ending the account

You can stop at any time. Export your data first, then write to admin@modoware.com and we will close the account and delete the data as described in the privacy policy.

We can end the agreement if you break these terms, if you do not pay after the free period and do not reply to us, or if we stop running the service. In every case except serious misuse we will give you at least 30 days' notice and time to export your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, such as a change in price, we will email the address on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use MindMaster after that date means you accept the new terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be handled by the courts in India. We would much rather talk first, so please write to us before anything else.
