Who we are
MindMaster CRM is made by Modoware. It is a client and booking CRM for independent professionals. This policy covers the Android app. You can reach us at admin@modoware.com.
What the app stores
The app stores only what is needed to run your client list, your diary and your booking link.
- Account details: your name, your email address and a hashed copy of your password.
- Business details: your business name, address and phone number, the hours you take bookings, your session length and the settings for your booking link, and a logo if you add one.
- Client records: the names, phone numbers and email addresses of your clients, the notes you write about them, their sessions, the fees you record and your follow up tasks.
- Bookings: the name, phone number, chosen time and, if the client adds them, an email address and a short message, sent through your booking link.
- Support messages: what you write to us in a support ticket and our replies.
- Technical logs: the time of each request, what it asked for and the IP address it came from, kept for a short time so we can find and fix faults.
What the app does not do
- It does not read your contacts, location, calendar, call log or messages.
- It does not collect device identifiers or the advertising ID.
- It has no advertising and no analytics or tracking code.
- It only sees a photo when you pick one from your phone as your logo.
Who can see it
Your records are visible only to you when you sign in. Every record belongs to your account, and no other account can see it.
Modoware staff look at your records only when you ask for help through a support ticket, and only for as long as that ticket needs.
We never sell your data and never share it with advertisers. The only companies that handle it are listed under Who we work with, and they act on our instructions.
Where it is kept
Your data is kept on a server in Singapore run by DigitalOcean. Everything travels between the app and that server over HTTPS, so it is encrypted on the way. Passwords are stored as hashes, so nobody can read them, including us.
Emails
We send a few emails through Brevo: a welcome email, setup reminders in your first weeks, a daily summary of your sessions (you can switch it off in Settings), a note each time a client books or cancels through your link, our replies to your support tickets and password reset links when you ask for them.
A client who gives an email address when booking gets a confirmation of the time, and a note if they cancel.
Who we work with
- DigitalOcean hosts the server and the database in Singapore.
- Brevo delivers the emails listed above. It receives the email address and the content of each email.
Your clients' details
You decide what you keep about your clients, so you are responsible for those records and we look after them on your behalf. Please keep only what you need and make sure your clients are happy for you to keep it.
If a client asks what you hold about them, you can show it, correct it in the app or delete it.
Your choices
- Download everything as spreadsheet files from Settings, Your data, at any time.
- Correct or delete a client, a session, a note or a task in the app at any time.
- Delete your account from Settings, Delete account, or by writing to us. The steps are on the delete your account page.
How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete something or close your account, it is removed from the live database within 30 days, and copies in our backups expire within 30 days after that.
Technical logs are kept for a short time to find and fix faults, then discarded.
Children
The app is for adults running a business. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will email the address on your account before the change takes effect and update the date at the top of this page.
